Lindsey Buss is the President of Martha’s Table. For over 30 years, Martha’s Table has been finding solutions to poverty in the short and long term. We meet emergency needs with food and clothing and break the long term cycle of poverty with nationally accredited education programs and family support services. Martha’s Table impact is enhanced through its partnerships with 200 other non-profits and the invaluable assistance of over 10,000 volunteers a year.

Michael Bartscherer

Michael Bartscherer is the Director of the Food Program and Martha’s Outfitters, a clothing and housewares store that provides many of life’s basic necessities to those in need while also providing the community with a unique shopping experience, quality clothing and new or nearly new items for the home. Michael has extensive operational experience

Timothy Jones, Director of the Teen and Satellite Programs, has been at Martha's Table since 1996. In addition to working at Martha's Table, Timothy is an author, trainer, and hip-hop educator. Timothy has forged working partnerships


Wanda Holmes

Wanda Holmes, Director of the Children’s Program and Bridge Program since September 2008 has more than 18 years of experience working with children and youth and developing and implementing educational/developmental programs that produce tangible results.


Simone Johnson
Director of Child Development Center

Simone Hopkinson-Johnson, Director of the Child Development Center, has been working in early childhood development for 13 years and at Martha’s Table for 10 years. She completed American University’s childcare program and the Montgomery County Childcare Association’s Leadership in Childcare program; she has her teaching certificate;
